Director of Photography & Editor, Cameron Wade Wheeless' latest film work, Eastern Western, is currently traveling across the international film festival circuit. Premiering at the 2024 Mill Valley Film Festival and receiving an Audience Award at the New Orleans Film Festival, Eastern Western is a narrative feature of epic proportions capturing the trials and tribulations of the American West.

Previously, Cameron was Camera Operator for Roberto Minervini’s The Damned, premiering at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and picking up the Best Director Award in Un Certain Regard. Cameron was an additional Director of Photography for Alexis Franco’s documentary feature, Where the Tree’s Bear Meat, which premiered at the 2024 Visions du Réel Film Festival. In 2021, Cameron edited Dirty Feathers, which was selected in the Panorama Section at the Berlin Film Festival. In 2018, Cameron worked as assistant camera & camera operator on Roberto Minervini's What You Gonna Do When the World's on Fire?, which was official selection at the Venice Film Festival.
In addition to his feature film work, Cameron also works as a commercial DP and Editor in NYC. His clients include: Coca-Cola, BBC, American Express, BOSCH, Urban X, Bally, Future Studios and more. He has traveled the world with multiple documentary series projects (slated for PBS and online distribution) as Cinematographer.
